Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ) has launched its first self-service card kiosk in the country that allows customers to get their debit or credit cards delivered and activated immediately.
Deployed at the bank’s D-Ring Road branch, the new machine not only delivers debit and credit cards but also provides convenience for customers to perform banking transactions.
The instant activation of the cards prevents customers from making repeated calls to banks for activation of the card.
Commercial Bank CEO, Abdulla Saleh Al Raisi, said Commercial Bank’s self-service card kiosk is part of their strategy to implement technology-based initiatives that make banking simple and effortless for all their valued customers.
"Commercial Bank has always used technology to make banking more convenient and easily accessible through a range of alternative channels including ATMs, Internet, Mobile and Phone Banking to name a few," Al Raisi added.
