Dutch digital security company Gemalto has launched Trusted Service Hub (TSH), a new cloud-based solution designed to connect issuers to the tokenisation services of Mastercard and Visa through a single gateway.
The platform is aimed at simplifying the process through which financial institutions launch mobile payment services.
The solution is designed to manage all digital issuance needs from a single platform. It will enable card issuers and wallet providers to quickly deploy mobile payments without different security frameworks or integration, the company said.
The Dutch firm added that the TSH will also facilitate an easy and fast addition of new wallets and use cases.
Gemalto senior vice-president of digital payment François Chaffard said: “Gemalto is already working with numerous banks and other key stakeholders worldwide to create and build flourishing digital payment ecosystems.
“Our new partnerships with Mastercard and Visa will strengthen these initiatives, and give clients faster and more efficient access to a global mobile payment market that is expected to be worth over $3tn by 2021.”
