i2c enhances card control and real-time alert features
i2c, a US-based provider of cloud prepaid processing and commerce solutions, has upgraded the card control and real-time alert features of its payment processing platform.
The company said the next generation of integrated card controls will allow credit and prepaid issuers to enable cardholders to personalise their cards while mitigating fraud risks.
The new enhancements include purse-level controls and advanced real-time alerts, which will offer cardholders more options when implementing budgets and spend controls, and advanced real-time alerts triggered by geolocation, context, and external events.
As control and alert features are integrated at the processing platform level, they will work across credit and prepaid products on any network.
i2c vice president of credit processing Lisa Fugate said: "With card controls features integrated in our platform, issuers can more easily provide consumers with customisable features like real-time alerts that give them immediate updates on critical account information like suspicious transactions.
"i2c was the first payment processor to offer card controls, and industry adoption has confirmed their value to issuers and cardholders. As consumer demand for these tools grows, we continue to innovate and improve solutions that add value to our customers and their brand."
