MasterCard has partnered with BLoyalty, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berjaya Corp, which owns and operates customer loyalty programme B Infinite (formerly BCard), to allow consumers to make purchases through B Infinite's mobile app.
B Infinite’s rewards app will now be integrated into MasterCard’s global digital payment service, Masterpass, within its mobile platform to enable users to make purchases swiftly and safely via the app. The service will be live on the mobile app starting from the first quarter of 2017.
The integration will enable over five million members of B Infinite to use Masterpass to shop online and benefit from deals and promotions such as merchant flash deals, besides checking and redeeming rewards on the app. In future, consumers will have the option of placing orders in advance for collection in-store and enable seamless redemption with Masterpass.
