MK Decision, a credit card loan origination platform in the US, has partnered with Merchants and Planters Bank (M&P) to bring a digital credit card application process to its customers.
The partnership has been facilitated by the Independent Community Bankers of America’s (ICBAs) ThinkTECH Accelerator programme – powered by The Venture Center.
The programme brings community bankers and fintechs together from across the nation to fix technology loopholes in the banking industry.
M&P Bank has been in search of a fintech partner to help its customers, open accounts online.
The bank selected eight out of 190 applicants from more than 40 countries, of which it chose MK Decision to participate in ICBA ThinkTECH Accelerator programme.
M&P president and CEO Jim Gowen said: “MK has continued to impress M&P with their mobile-first online applications and digital lending platform.
“This platform has allowed us to offer our customers quickly accessible, concise, easy to use digital application.
“MK made the implementation process almost effortless, providing us with exceptional service, quick turn-around, and attention to detail.”
M&P said it it is aligned with MK’s mission to help community banks acquire more deposits and loans. The company aims to continue its digital transformation with MK as its partner.
