RevoluGROUP Canada has concluded a beta trial of its RevoluPAY e-wallet, which is connected to a proprietary physical Visa card, in 20 nations.
The company claimed that the card performed “flawlessly” in different ATMs, POS in-store physical payments as well as during online payments.
Previous issues related to international delivery of SMS transactions have been resolved after the Revolugroup app was reprogrammed.
The company said in a statement: “The RevoluPAY physical international visa card facilitates worldwide utilisation of the RevoluPAY App, permitting cash withdrawals from any ATM that accepts Visa worldwide, allied to POS payment at any location that accepts Visa and Online Payments.
“This functionality will give RevoluPAY app users an added layer of global financial autonomy, in those locations where NFC enabled POS devices and ATMs, for which the RevoluPAY app is already enabled, are not yet operational or, in jurisdictions where RevoluPAY does not yet possess a local cash-out partner.”
The RevoluPAY Visa cards will be shipped to users from 15th of this month.
RevoluPAY is a multinational payment app that supports payments related to leisure, travel, retail and hospitality, as well as real estate, among others.
Powered by blockchain technology, the app can be availed by both Apple and Android users.
