U.S. Bank has unveiled a new business credit card that is based on insights from business owners across different industries.
The U.S. Bank Business Leverage Visa Signature card features rewards on common business purchases. These purchases run across a variety of categories such as raw materials, supply chain purchases, commercial equipment and advertising.

In addition, the business credit card provides 2x points on purchases in top two categories spent by businesses each month.
These bonus categories are automatically adjusted every month depending on the business’ spending.
An extra bonus point, up to 100,000 bonus points, is added for every dollar spent in the first year. The card also offers additional reward points for processing credit card payments via U.S. Bank.
U.S. Bank president of retail payment solutions John Steward said: “We took a customer-centred approach and built this as a business card from the ground up, completely rethinking how businesses are rewarded.
“Plus, we give them business-sized spending power so they can use this card on their larger purchases, wherever Visa credit cards are accepted.”
The bank’s credit card portfolio comprises premium rewards, cash back, travel rewards and low interest rate cards such as Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite, Cash+ Visa Signature, FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Signature and Visa Platinum.
In April this year, the bank added mobile transaction capabilities to its Corporate Travel Card. This enables cardholders to make corporate payments using their mobile phones.
