Payment technology firm Verifone, has unveiled Verifone Carbon, a new integrated POS device, to reduce the hassle of checkout process for both merchants and consumers.
Designed for café owners, quick service restaurants and retail stores, Verifone Carbon features dual high-resolution screens that can be optimised for merchants and consumers.
It integrates into a sleek stand with built-in high-speed printer, and optional cash drawer at the base, which needs least counter space and provides portability for mPOS activities.
Verifone Carbon will accept all forms of payment, including swipe, tap or dip with the chip slot positioned for both portable and countertop.
Verifone Systems executive vice president Glen Robson said: "Today, merchants need trusted tools and services to create simple, secure and engaging consumer shopping experiences and new ways to grow their businesses.

In collaboration with Danish beverage bar, Joe & the Juice, Verifone Carbon is being showcased at Money20/20 Europe.
