Visa has signed an agreement to acquire TrialPay, an alternative e-commerce payment system that drives sales through targeted offers.
Visa will integrate TrialPay into its product portfolio as a cost-effective way to facilitate merchants acquire customers, drive traffic, and increase sales by reaching Visa cardholders with targeted offers.
TrialPay’s technology will strengthen Visa’s merchant offering capabilities and accelerate its ability to drive commerce opportunities via customized, real-time offers to cardholders.
The integration will enable merchants to receive timely customer insights through Visa’s data and analytics capabilities.
Visa senior vice president of merchant sales and solutions Ramon Martin said: "TrialPay will strengthen our loyalty and offers platform, which we expect to become a strategic and competitive differentiator that can help merchants build customer loyalty and increase sales in both the digital and physical retail environments."
