WePay, a payments service provider for online platforms including GoFundMe, FreshBooks and Constant Contact, has introduced a white label mobile point-of-sale (POS) solution that will allow platforms to handle in-person payments as well as online payments.
With the new solution, WePay platform customers can now offer their own branded mobile card readers without bearing any cost to build, maintain and certify hardware.
Service providers and sellers running their business on the platforms can manage all of their sales, including in-person transactions, within their preferred platform. Also there is no need for users to enter data manually to get a complete view of their businesses as offline transaction data automatically syncs with their platform account.
The new solution has been launched in tandem with business platforms FreshBooks and Infusionsoft.
WePay CEO Bill Clerico said: "We’re incredibly excited to make it simple for our partners to offer a mobile point of sale solution under their own brand. Providing omnichannel payments to merchants just got easy."
Infusionsoft chief product officer Terry Hicks said: "This is an exciting step forward in improving the point-of-sale process for our small businesses and their customers alike.
"The Infusionsoft-branded mobile reader seamlessly integrates payments within our sales and marketing software, saving our users time and making their lives easier."
