Worldpay has announced a partnership with point-of-sale firm Unique Secure and hardware provider Lenovo to develop a new digital payment solution, called My Business Hub, for small retailers and other SMEs.
The new platform, which is being marketed as an all-in-one tablet based till, will consolidate cash registers, payment devices and receipt printers into one fully integrated payment device.
Worldpay said that the device can also be used for other functions like ordering stock online or checking emails and responding to customer enquiries.
The hub, which is being integrated with My Business Dashboard, will allow businesses to see both cash and card transactions in their dashboard account, while tracking performance, view sales trends and gain valuable insights about their business
My Business Dashboard is Worldpay’s online insights tool for small businesses, which gives access for online card transactions.
To start processing transactions using hub, businesses need to download the Business Hub mobile app.
