American hospitality industry company Brinker International has partnered with Presto to deploy pay-at-table solutions at Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurants.
The partnership will see the roll-out of Presto pay-at-table systems across most of Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurants in the US. This casual dining restaurant chain, owned by Brinker International, has 1,250 eateries in the country.
The move is aimed to improve productivity and drive customer experience.
According to the website, the device accepts almost all forms of payment.
It supports latest EMV and payment technologies including Apple Pay, Android Pay and Samsung Pay. Customers can also use Presto pay-at-table systems for making payments with chip-and-pin, chip-and-signature and pin-debit procedures.
Chili’s restaurants are expected to add new functionalities to the Presto pay-at-table systems that will allow consumers to sign-in, view past orders and re-order favourite items.
The system will also store dietary preferences of the customers, if they agree to share the information.
Furthermore, it will directly e-mail the payment receipts to signed-in customers, once the payment is made.
Brinker International chief digital officer Wade Allen said: “Our guests and operators expect a best-in-class digital experience focused on making their lives easier and improving hospitality.
“This nationwide pay-at-table technology upgrade to Presto is an important component of our strategy to provide a convenient and personalised guest experience.”
Presto founder and CEO Rajat Suri said: “Brinker International’s desire to take the industry forward through disruptive innovation is inspiring, and Presto is fully committed to support this bold vision.”
