Chicago based mobile transactions technology C-SAM and MasterCard have signed an agreement to develop and deploy joint mobile commerce solutions The agreement includes a minority investment by the global scheme.
C-SAM provides the end-to-end infrastructure used to operate a mobile wallet, such as back-end management infrastructure and support for NFC, bar code, QR code and cloud based transactions. C-SAM’s platform also supports customer-specific offers, loyalty incentives, banking, bill-pay options and non-financial transactions.
The partnership builds upon a marketing and commercialisation agreement that formed in early 2012. The two companies hope that this increased collaboration will make use of MasterCard’s PayPass Wallet Services and enhancing the value it can offer consumers.
