Canadian payment solutions provider Everlink Payment Services has partnered with ACI Worldwide to power its fraud management solution.
The collaboration will extend the deployment of ACI’s UP Payments Risk Management solution to drive Everlink’s eSCORE solution.
The move follows the launch of a co-badged debit card product by Everlink. The debit card provides additional usage channels including card-not-present transactions requiring the Canadian firm to bolster its fraud prevention strategies for banking clients.
A machine learning fraud management solution, eSCORE assesses several debit card transaction features to prevent face-to-face and card-not-present fraud.
The deployment of the ACI solution is expected to improve the efficiency of Everlink fraud prevention technology while complying with the necessary security standards.
Equipped with ACI Model Generator, the UP Payments Risk Management solution provides the clients with a cloud-based approach to enterprise fraud management.
The ACI Model Generator extracts relevant customer insights from a pool of data enabling operators to create analytics models within hours.
Everlink Card Management and Fraud Solutions general manager Michelle Burger said: “As payment card fraud continues to evolve, we needed to protect our clients and their customers as they encounter new risks brought on by innovative payment options such as mobile wallets and co-badged debit cards.
“With ACI’s Model Generator, we’re able to use advanced machine learning to analyse face-to-face and card-not-present debit card transactions, enhancing fraud detection rates and reducing false positives.”
Based in Florida, ACI supports electronic payments for more than 5,100 organisations globally.
This July, the company launched new tools to enable payment firms to comply with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements.
