The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, a US-based provider of automobile dealership software and services, has launched ReyPAY, a new electronic payment processing solution for automobile retailers.
ReyPAY will allow dealers to offer consumers secure payment options in-store, online, over the phone, and on mobile devices using payment applications like Apple Pay.
The new payment solution will facilitate secured credit transactions with point-to-point encryption (P2PE) complying with new credit processing rules to protect consumers’ personal data.
OpenEdge, the Integrated Solutions division of Global Payments, will oversee the back-end payment processing for ReyPAY.
Reynolds vice president of product planning Jon Strawsburg said: "Prominent among the pressures influencing how automobile retailers sell cars and serve their customers are changing consumer expectations, the growth of mobile devices, and increased regulatory scrutiny.
"This new payment solution helps dealers deliver a more consistent, smoother retail experience to consumers and also helps dealers operate more effectively and efficiently."
