Payment gateway provider Shift4, omnichannel software provider Multidev and Ingenico have partnered to deploy an EMV solution at Opening Ceremony retail locations in New York and Los Angeles.
The solution will use Shift4's payment gateway, Multidev's omnichannel solution and smart terminal from Ingenico to assist Opening Ceremony offer its customers a secure and engaging point-of-purchase experience.
This integrated solution will offer increased defense against counterfeit card fraud and layered payment security from Shift4's TrueTokenization and True P2PE (point-to-point encryption) solutions.
These solutions will combine with EMV to ensure that retailers never store, process or transmit sensitive card data from the time it first interacts with a payment device.
Shift4 said that Ingenico’s iSC Touch 250 smart terminals will meet the latest hardware and software security requirements, PCI PTS 3.x certified, and comply with SRED and Open Protocol modules.
