Shift4 Payments, a payment processing solutions provider, has purchased CurvePay (IRN Payment Systems), an independent sales organisation (ISO), for an undisclosed amount.
The deal is expected to expand Shift4’s payment platform by millions of transactions per year in the US.
Through its technology, CurvePay delivers credit card processing services for numerous taxis. This technology and its operations will now be integrated into Shift4’s point-of-sale (POS) brand, Harbortouch.
Also, Shift4 recently acquired and added POS firms Restaurant Manager, POSitouch and Future POS to Harbortouch.
Shift4 Payments CEO Jared Isaacman said: “This is an exciting acquisition for Shift4 Payments that adds tens of thousands of new customers and millions of annual transactions to our payment network.
“CurvePay has a rich history in the payments industry and we look forward to supporting their customers and sales partners through our Harbortouch brand.”
Currently, Shift4 Payments processes more than one billion annual transactions for around 200,000 customers, amounting to more than $100bn payments per year.
