Wirecard, a specialist in digital financial technology has partnered with SES-imagotag, to launch an innovative in-store mobile shopping solution, to revolutionise customer experience.
SES-imagotag develops solutions to enable retailers to automate low-value-added processes, increase store efficiency, and enhance in-store shopper connectivity. Through the partnership, customers can enjoy a seamless payment experience by paying with their smartphones using Wirecard technology.
For customers, there is the added benefit of now being able to pay anywhere in-store, avoiding long checkout lines. To pay and add products to their basket, customers just need to use their smartphone to scan the digital price tag from SES-imagotag. Product information, e-coupons and much more will now be made accessible to shoppers, giving them quicker access to more information.
With a quick tap on their smartphones, customers can select their preferred method of payment and complete their purchases.
This solution suits all retail sectors, from grocery supermarkets to fashion stores. Retailers in the clothing sector can, for example simply integrate the so-called ‘fashiontags’ instead of security badges on the clothes.
