WorldLink Payment Services, the global payment unit of Citigroup, has expanded its automated clearing house (ACH) offering to 60 countries.
The ACH offering has now been launched in ten additional markets in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
At the same time, the company is also developing nine cross-border ACH corridors. The corridors, expected to be operational by early 2018, will allow users to access ACH payments in 69 countries and 34 currencies.
Commenting on the development, Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions global head of payments and receivables Manish Kohli said: “We are focused on delivering the power of Citi to our clients by building integrated global solutions that connect our clients to every part of our continuously expanding global payments network in an efficient and consistent manner.
“This expanded capability will offer clients the ability to participate in commerce in new markets, through low cost payment options delivered through digital channels.”
