Asset finance consulting firm Invigors has appointed a senior consultant in the Netherlands.
Frans Jansen joins Invigors from a position as vice-president of Doosan Infracore Financial Solutions, where he managed a specialist team operating a “virtual captive”, handling back-end functions for funders in 26 countries.
Prior to this, Jansen was a managing director at consultancy Leasing Services, and a managing director at Siemens Financial Services.
Jansen said: “Joining Invigors is a bit like ‘coming home’ as I shall now be reunited with six European and North American colleagues with whom I have worked during various stages of my career.
“During the past eight years with Doosan Infracore, I know for sure that substantial value can be created for both OEMs in construction equipment and other segments and their dealer networks by offering a range of bespoke financial products in their wholesale, retail and rental activities.”
Chris Boobyer, senior partner at Invigors, said: “Frans brings a rich seam of OEM experience and expertise in asset management and remarketing, gathered over his many years in both vendor finance and direct leasing.
“He is an acknowledged industry leader and will help us bridge the gap between high-level asset management strategies and the structuring of customer transactions through his deep understanding of systems, processes and organisational delivery. We know that his skills and experience will further strengthen the Invigors team in Europe and add value to our international colleagues in the Alta Group. We are delighted that Frans has joined us.”
Invigors’ last European executive appointment was in Ireland, where Kieran O’Brien, a 25-year asset finance veteran, became network member for the country after joining Invigors as an associate in 2016.
