Midlands Asset Finance (MAF) has appointed a senior business development manager for its Yorkshire operations.
Craig Bennett has joined in from Lloyds Bank, where he spent ten years. His two most recent positions were as area director, first for SME key markets and then for real estate in the Midlands and South Yorkshire.
He previously had a nine year tenure at Royal Bank of Scotland, as relationship manager.
Bennett said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at Midlands Asset Finance at this exciting time. The company is really growing and I’m looking forward to aiding that growth even further.
“MAF has built an excellent reputation for its flexible and professional approach in handling complex finance transactions on behalf of clients, and I’m looking to replicate that success with businesses in Yorkshire.”
MAF director Dave Chapman said: “I’m delighted that Craig has joined the team here.
“With his expertise in the real estate and specialist key markets, and his experience in assisting larger corporate clients across the wider sector, Craig is exactly what the company needs as we look to continue to grow.
“He has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of finance, and we are looking forward to utilise this to assist as many businesses and operators as possible.
“We’ve done this successfully in our core Midlands operating area, and we are looking to adopt this approach in Yorkshire, where we have an existing customer base and growth potential, by offering a personalised professional service to each business we engage with.”
