Nick Gallop to head marketing at IAA-Advisory
International Advisory Associates
(IAA-Advisory) has appointed senior executive Nick Gallop as
director of Strategic Marketing.
Gallop’s previous experience with captive
finance under IBM Global Financing expands the reach of
IAA-Advisory’s capabilities, especially in the area of captives,
serving their customer base via dealers and intermediaries,
according to a statement released by the company.
Gallop joined IBM in 1974 as a salesman.
Moving to marketing 25 years ago, he used the customer-based
approach in selling to achieve success in the marketing field.
Derek Soper, chairman of IAA-Advisory said
“Nick has the qualities and experience that signal an outstanding
and successful knowledge base, which is exactly what our clients
expect of us. The role he can play will help us continue to help
our clients meet the challenges posed by a rapidly developing
industry.”
Gallop said: “It’s a tremendous opportunity to
join this team at an exciting time; access to finance for the
purchasers of capital equipment and services is one of the most
significant issues facing the economy right across Europe and our
industry has a huge role to play in making that process more
efficient, both directly and through intermediate channels.”
IAA-Advisory is a boutique consultancy that
specializes in commercial banking and asset finance. It
recently pooled resources with
Triangle Trade Finance (TTF) to offer customers wider range of
finances.
