Job Description:	J2248 – Our client is seeking a Head of Operations to assume responsibility for the day to day operation, management and leadership of all Operational aspects of the asset finance division. This includes establishing robust optimal processes that ensure that Brokers, Introducers, Suppliers and Customers all experience outstanding customer service, whilst protecting the quality of the asset finance portfolio. Location: UK, Thames Valley / SE Eng. Salary: £65,000 -£75,000 subject to experience. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develop and maintain effective organisational structure for Operations that meets current, and anticipates future business needs. Develop and maintain efficient processes and procedures that enable seamless processing of asset finance transactions. Deliver outstanding customer service, whilst achieving cost efficiency, productivity and risk compliance on an on-going basis. Develop own and team’s relationship with key Brokers, Introducers, Suppliers and Customers, to ensure we maximise the business opportunity with each of them. Create can-do culture across the Operations team, without losing sight of controlling risks. Ensure self and team work collaboratively with all other Functions, both within the asset finance business, and the wider company. As nominated Risk Champion for your function, work alongside the Risk function in developing and maintaining a risk management agenda, acting both to ensure the necessary levels of transparency for potential risks and promoting a positive culture of awareness and accountability throughout your function. Line manage and coach all direct reports, including all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration and recruitment. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Strong experience of asset finance market; preferably in leading an Operations team. Proven track record of developing and delivering operational services. Experienced in implementing relevant risk, compliance and business controls. Experience of process-improvement projects desirable. Experience of hard asset finance market. Knowledge of the relevant Regulatory, Compliance and Legal framework under which the asset finance business operates e.g. KYC/AML/DPA etc. Experience of working with finance brokers. We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
