|Job Description:||J2597 – Our client is seeking a Credit Underwriter to underwrite all value proposals up to a limit of £250k. You will have responsibility for the end to end underwriting process, including meeting the customers where required, working closely with sales in preparing Credit Reports. The role will also be to support in Block underwriting as required. You will be expected to use your credit and customer management skills to analyse and assess applications / requests and make suitable recommendations to senior management. The role also entails preparing management information and reports for Senior management. Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, London|
Timely and accurate underwriting decisions within a personal delegated authority and recommendations to senior management and Credit Committee where outside of personal mandate.
Extensive experience in a relevant small to middle ticket underwriting as well as detailed Block knowledge within Credit / Risk Management.
We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
