Digital solutions and services firm iPipeline has launched an integrated solution that allows advisers to view each protection provider’s non-medical underwriting limits at quote stage.
The service lets advisers determine at quote stage if a client’s protection application needs to be sent automatically for medical evidence.
In addition, advisers can view detailed information on the provider’s non-medical underwriting limits and compare it with other providers.
The underwriting functionality provides advisers with a streamlines and efficient feature that helps whilst researching, quoting and also applying.
Furthermore, it enables them to set clients’ expectations quickly, speeds up the application process and offers a personalised service.
Paul Yates, product strategy director at iPipeline, said: “The Covid-19 crisis has seen advisers getting inundated with calls from customers concerned about whether they can get protection cover. We identified the market need and in just four weeks developed new functionality that allows advisers to look at every provider’s non-medical underwriting limits and compare it with other providers quickly and easily. This not only saves valuable time for the adviser and takes away the labour-intensive aspects of ploughing through other sources of data or making calls, but also improves client outcomes by setting expectations upfront, provides better and more personalised service to clients and helps advisers direct them to more specialised support if necessary.”
In addition, it is also in the the Resonant New Business and Underwriting products.
iPipeline’s iGo e-App is a data-gathering e-application for life insurance. Resonant provides automated solutions for managing and controlling underwriting and new business processes.
iGO e-App users will be able to access products from LexisNexis Risk Solutions. These include identity verification, multi-factor authentication, and data prefill solutions.
Resonant users can also deploy other underwriting solutions including LexisNexis Risk Classifier, LexisNexis Electronic Inspection Report, LexisNexis Motor Vehicle Records, and LexisNexis National Credit File.
The firms anticipate the collaboration will bring speed, accuracy, efficiency, and security to customers.
