Molina Healthcare, a US-based health insurance provider, has teamed up with web-based information systems provider Connecture to roll out digital quoting, shopping and enrollment tools for its Medicare business.
Molina Healthcare deliver managed health care services under the Medicaid and Medicare programmes and through the state insurance marketplaces.
Molina has already deployed Connecture’s portal technology in 12 states it serves. The platform supports the carrier’s primary sales channels, including brokers, call centre agents and their direct-to-consumer web portal.
The collaboration is also expected to enable Molina to offer an improved personalised shopping and enrollment experience online to larger consumer base.

These web-based and mobile tools support sales process, including lead qualification, quoting and data insights.
Molina Healthcare vice president of medicare sales Britt Travis said: “When we were originally looking for a partner to help expand our Medicare channels, Connecture’s name quickly rose to the top of the list.
