Oman Qatar Insurance Company (OQIC), a subsidiary of Qatar Insurance Group, has opened its new corporate office. It is in the business district in Al Khuwair.
The corporate office features in-house training facilities. Moreover, they are focused on continuous learning and development, particularly to cater to young Omani nationals. The office also houses a call centre, modern meeting facilities and breakout areas.
The insurer also opened its retail branch in Maabella and OQIC will now have 10 full-service branches across Oman.
OQIC chairman Khalaf Ahmed Al Mannai said: “OQIC’s vision aligns with its parent Qatar Insurance Group, which is to continue its drive for achieving further growth and operational excellence through innovation, diversification and responsible leadership.
“Pursuant to this vision, OQIC aspires to play a key role in enhancing the bilateral ties between the two countries and becoming a key contributor to Oman’s economic welfare.”
Simultaneously, the insurer also announced the launch of its latest policy issuance and delivery service known as ‘Insurance-on-Call’.
The service provides customers bespoke advice and assistance – from selecting the most suited additional covers to buying or renewing personal insurances.
