Groupe PSA has launched a dealer network dedicated exclusively to the DS brand, established in 2014.
New DS models, starting with the DS 7 Crossback range releasing in March, will only be available through the branded network.
A spokesman for PSA told Motor Finance that, although DS cars would for the moment be still available through independent dealers, the group was looking to move towards a dedicated DS franchised network.
The group said DS dealers worldwide currently number 400, which a total of 60 due in the UK by 2018. By the end of the year, the Rent car hire and valet services will be available through all dealers in the network.
Groupe PSA has also been updating the design for its Peugeot UK dealerships, with a focus on online-offline purchase journey integration.
David Peel, managing director at Peugeot UK commented: “With the launch of our outstanding new SUV family now complete, and more exciting new models in the pipeline, it’s only right that we created the best possible environment for our customers.
“The way the network has embraced the new corporate identity has been exemplary and the fit and finish of the completed dealerships is truly a class act. This level of quality is a demonstration of our commitment to delivering a first-rate customer experience throughout the ownership journey.”
As part of the update, Peugeot’s new dealerships will be fully integrated with the brand’s Order Online facility, which allows customers to order their car online from start to finish, and arrange collection or delivery from the dealer of their choice.
