Modix, the digital marketing arm of Cox Automotive, has made two executive appointments.
As head of retailer sales, Paul Flanagan will be responsible for building Modix’s dealer group relationships in the UK.
Flanagan has over 25 years’ experience in the automotive industry, and joins the Cox Automotive business from Renault where he was most recently managing director (UK and Europe North). Prior to Renault, he was president of Ford France.
Modix has also brought Jules Rastelli on board as head of OEM relationships. Rastelli joins following a senior level career in automotive digital, classifieds and communications.
The appointments come at a time when Modix has recently announced the launch of its “Connected Retail” proposition, which will see the company working closely with clients with the intention of meeting and keeping pace with their digital requirements.
Both Flanagan and Rastelli will report to James Smith, commercial director at Modix.
Smith said: “This will give Modix even greater expertise and experience to develop both OEM and direct dealer group relationships. We have enjoyed significant product growth during the last few years, and Paul and Jules will help to deliver our next phase of development.”
Acquired in 2016, Modix is described by Cox Automotive as a marketing tool to help manufacturers and dealers professionally market their cars and businesses through customised digital solutions. It works with more than 30 OEMS and 16,500 dealers across Europe, and is part of the Cox Automotive group of companies with its UK headquarters are in Adlington, near Manchester.
