Role: Sub-Prime Motor Finance BDM
Location: Nationwide, UK
Account managers are set geographical territories within which they are expected to source business. Target customers will be SMEs with small fleets of between five and 30 vehicles. A variety of lead sources are available, but the ability to use initiative and self-generate new business is essential and will be measured.
Relationships are created and nurtured through regular telephone and email contact and importantly regular face-to-face meetings. These may be a combination of formal office meetings and hospitality events. Each account manager should arrange and attend a minimum of four face-to-face appointments each week (16 per calendar month) and will be given full admin support to facilitate business.
Customers should be ranked according to volume and potential and all regular clients should be visited at least once per quarter. Account managers are also required to entertain key customers on their own time at events such as football, concerts, meals etc.
The ideal candidates must be energetic, competitive, have a strong desire to earn money, and want an exciting career in asset or vehicle finance.
