Software house Jaama has appointed
two new developers, Paul
Palmer and Paul
Deepa Vijay has joined
software company epyx as a developer. Over her 10 years in the IT
field, she has helped develop systems for Siemens, Renault, Nissan
and the National Grid, among others. Meanwhile, Amber Allen and
have joined the firm as call centre operatives.
Andy Carroll has been
announced as the new managing director of Glass’s Information
Services. Carroll has over 20 years in the sector under his belt,
Glass’s said, having held the positions of sales director for
commercial vehicles at GM Europe; chief operating officer of
internet car retailer OneSwoop; MD of Daewoo UK and MD of Chevrolet
UK. Most recently, Carroll was an adviser to a major car retail
Gary Stanyon has taken up
the newly-created position of business development manager at
Network Automotive, with responsibility for the training and
development campaign on behalf of the Bosch Car Service Network. He
has nearly three decades’ experience in the motor industry, having
worked for Volkswagen, Nissan and Peugeot among others, and was
most recently an account manager at Accident Exchange.
Steve Devine has joined IGI
Insurance, as the general insurer sets its sights on moving into
the payment protection market. Devine, an experienced insurance
practitioner who worked at Cardif Pinnacle for 15 years, is also
the chairman of Protect, the association of UK credit insurers. In
addition to IGI’s move into PPI, he will be in charge of growing
GAP insurance and warranty business volumes.
Cara Hughes is to lead the
northern area sales team at Nexus, the vehicle rental systems
provider said. Hughes spent the last seven years as a business
development manager at Audi Liverpool, specialising in B2B sales,
and she has over 17 years’ experience in the sector.
Fleet consultancy GreenRoad has
expanded its UK team with the addition of fleet safety
Williamson and John Dimmer, who will both
work on large customer accounts. Williamson will be master driver
at GreenRoad, and joins from Transport for London. Dimmer is to
take up the position of senior projects director, and has an
extensive background in project management of transport-related

Richmond has left car dealer group Inchcape, and no
successor has yet been announced.
Adam Pumfrey, fleet and
remarketing director at Fiat and Alfa Romeo, has left the carmaker.
No successor has yet been announced.
Joe Doyle, managing
director of HPI, has been promoted to the post of joint MD of both
HPI and its sister company Audatex, both part of the Solera group,
in the UK, India, South Africa and Australia.
The launch of HPI’s Finance
Gateway system will be aided by the appointment of James Edwards as sales
operations manager. Previously, Edwards worked for dealer group
Sytner, where he was responsible for developing finance and
insurance systems, for boosting F&I performance, and for
liaising with captive finance houses.
Roger Grainger has been
appointed national fleet sales manager at Audi UK. He takes over
Andrews, who has moved to another role within the
Volkswagen Group. Grainger previously worked for Avis as sales
director, and for DHL. He will report to Audi’s head of fleet
sales, Iain Carmichael.
Jolyon Nash has succeeded Graeme Grieve as director
of sales and marketing for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Nash spent a
number of years working for manufacturers and dealer groups in
South Africa, including for Volkswagen South Africa as sales and
marketing director, and for motor dealer McCarthy Limited as
executive director, responsible for import and distribution and
financial services, among other duties.
Laura Polvde has joined
motor industry charity BEN as national volunteers coordinator. She
first joined BEN as a volunteer last year, during her degree at
Royal Holloway, University of London.
Richard Balshaw is the
newly-appointed sales director at Toyota GB, replacing Michael
Cole, who has left the manufacturer. Balshaw has spent the past 15
years at Toyota, most recently as general manager for aftersales;
before that he was general manager of Toyota and Lexus fleet
services. He will report to commercial director Jon Williams.
John Thomson has also been
appointed marketing director at Toyota GB. Thomson joins from TME,
where he was a senior manager in the marketing department.

Webb, has been promoted to the role of regional
director, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Webb said he will
continue to concentrate on building Mondial’s UK and Irish
businesses, along with identifying business opportunities in the
Middle East, and growing the insurer’s fledgling Russian
