Judges

Venue

Frankfurt, Germany

Home of Private Banking Germany since our launch in 2018, Frankfurt, a central Germany City on the river main is a major financial hub, home to the European Central Bank. It was obvious why Private Banking and Wealth Management had to take place here as the financial capital of Germany.

This is a city of great diversity with big business and banks, trade shows and shopping on one side with plenty of culture, tradition, cosiness on the other. Much of the city was damaged during World War II and later rebuilt, with the old town (also known as Altstadt), home to the site called Römerberg which holds a yearly Christmas market.

After the awards and conference, you can spend the next day trying the Frankfurt specialty – green sauce with hard boiled eggs and potatoes along with Frankfurt apple wine – lovingly known as “Ebbelwei” or “Schoppe”. As mentioned shopping is a favourite pastime here with exquisite and  exclusive items found here in the heart of the Frankfurt shopping district –  Goethestraße and Neue Rothof where you can find luxury labels and designer wear here. On the other hand, if individual and unusual is more your style, you can visit Berger Straße which attracts individual shoppers with cafés, bars and quaint boutiques to meet your daily and independent demands.

Agenda

If you have topic suggestions or are interested in speaking at the next event, please get in touch with the Programme Director:

Kim Palfrey
Portfolio Director, Financial Services
Direct: +44 (0)207 936 6960
E: kim.palfrey@arena-international.com

In 2019, this agenda is focused more towards digital strategy, innovation and enhancing client experience as well as understanding what the future of the industry will be and what strategy can we implement to support banks, wealth management offices and family offices for the next generation of clients such as the Millennials and Sandwich generations.

This year, these presentations topped off with speaker Q&As and panel discussions inquire to ask more questions to help ensure you are fully equipped for a digital future. After all it’s thought that if your business strategy isn’t digital, you don’t have a business strategy at all.

Some hot topics on the agenda includes:

  • What is the changing role of MiFID and how do you prepare for the next framework, MiFID III
  • Is philanthropy a sustainable means of investment? What are better methods of sustainability? What regulations in the EU should you be aware about?
  • How are banks creating a flexible client experience via digital means?
  • How is AI being used to help improve client experience and how does robo-banking change the role of the relationship manager in private banks?

These sessions will serve to answer these questions and open the floor to the delegates so sponsors and solutions providers will also have the chance to answer these questions. With traditional presentations, Q&A sessions and panel discussions, this is the platform where delegates will have the chance to explore these challenges facing them, and what potential solutions can solve them.
