Private Banking & Wealth Management: Switzerland 2018 Conference and Awards leverages the expertise across the Verdict research and publishing portfolio, including Private Banker International, Wealth Insight and Wealth Intelligence Centre. The event is an opportunity to share ideas, discover trends and network with peers across the wealth industry.

In its third year, Private Banking & Wealth Management: Switzerland 2018 returned to Zurich at The Marriott Hotel on the 12th December 2018 . The evening hosted a gala dinner to reveal the winners of 2018 Private Banking & Wealth Management: Switzerland 2018 Awards, which celebrate excellence in the private banking industry.

About

As competition from other global private banking centres intensifies, this year’s Private Banking Switzerland conference explores how the industry is adapting to these pressures and examines the newly emerging models for delivery and distribution of wealth management services. Including discussion of the impact of technology and automation on the traditions of advice and personalised service, with an inside look at emerging trends from other wealth management hubs, the conference will ask how the Swiss private bank can restore the lustre to its prestigious reputation.

We will examine key market trends and discuss practical solutions to the most pressing industry questions:

  • Economic trends to 2020. Wealth management industry performance
  • Switzerland’s position as an offshore centre in the age of Brexit
  • What’s the best strategy for serving today’s wealthy customer?
  • With technology playing an increasingly significant role in service delivery what benefit does institutional size confer?
  • How should Switzerland’s banks reposition themselves?
  • What are the implications for service, delivery and product distribution in the age of the digital wealth manager?
  • How is technology enabling faster, more cost effective on-boarding, KYC and compliance reporting among wealth management organisations?
  • How should Switzerland’s private banking industry define itself in the age of digital technology and intensifying competition?
  • What channels are working for attracting, retaining and managing an increasingly diverse customer universe?
  • What’s the connection between distribution and profitability? How are Swiss private banks adapting to the challenge of tight margins and higher costs?
  • What does the country need to do stay ahead?

The more you can respond against the stronger your application will be, but we would like to highlight that submitting against all criteria is not mandatory.
