Hyperception: Sensory Illusions
Tuesday, 17 October – 1am London time at the Ambassador Chicago hotel
Local magician Jeanette Andrews will guide you through a sensory performance that is directed entirely by the audience. Use your knowledge to move the story along as Andrews performs tricks and illusions that promise to leave attendees speechless.

Specimens: Unlocking the Secrets of Life Through Science and Creativity
Wednesday, 18 October – 7pm London time at the Field Museum
See how Lee Burnett combined science and creativity to put together the “Specimens” exhibit at Chicago’s Field Museum. Not only will you get behind-the-scenes access to the natural history display, but you will also learn what goes into creating a successful museum exhibit.

Mural Painting with Matthew Hoffman
Friday, 20 October – 6pm London time at North-East Corner of Central & Corcoran
Paint a picture with Chicago-based street artist Matthew Hoffman. The popular artist will be taking to the streets of Austin to transform the neighbourhood through art and he needs your help.
You don’t need a ticket to attend. Just turn up and wear something that you don’t mind getting messy. Find out more here.
Life’s Big Questions
Thursday, 19 October – 1am London time at Harris Theatre
What is the meaning of life and what happens when we die? Details are slim. However, it’s only right to explore the most challenging questions of all at a festival focused on asking challenging questions.

The State of Our Union
Tuesday, 17 October – 1am London time at Harris Theatre
Former British politician David Miliband leads a panel of charity and organisation leaders as they discuss what it means to be an American. During what is a turbulent and divisive time for the United States, this one should be interesting.
