British advice firm Ascot Lloyd has opened a new private office in Harrogate to offer bespoke wealth management solutions for both families as well as individuals.
The new Ascot Lloyd Private Office will target individuals and families with investible assets of at least £500,000. It will employ 40 people in Harrogate along with 12 in the West End of London.
Ascot Lloyd CEO Richard Dunbabin said: "We are seeing a growing need for high quality wealth solutions in Harrogate and across Yorkshire. We will enhance our offering in response to this demand, utilising the skill of our financial advisers to help existing and new clients achieve their financial goals.
"While competitors are scaling back the bespoke financial services they offer, we remain committed to personalised, client-centric wealth management."
In addition, Ascot Lloyd also received a seven-figure funding package from Clydesdale Bank.
The funding will be used to pay deferred considerations on its previous acquisitions and for future activity, Ascot Lloyd said.
Ascot Lloyd group CFO Iain Balchin said: "Ascot Lloyd has grown rapidly over the last two years through significant acquisitions. As we continue our growth it is important we have a supportive bank and formal acquisition facility in place. This new facility from Clydesdale is transformational in terms of our future plans."
Ascot Lloyd operates in London, Manchester, Wokingham, Cardiff, Harrogate and Wolverhampton. The firm oversees client assets of over £2bn and employs over 175 staff.
