British wealth manager Brewin Dolphin has launched an app providing clients with access to information about the makeup and performance of their portfolio.
The app, adopting the name of the wealth manager’s online portal MyBrewin, has been developed by wealthtech provider Objectway.
The app will incorporate facial and thumbprint recognition technology and be available on the Apple and Android operating systems.
Grant Parkinson, Brewin Dolphin chief operating officer, said of the launch: “How clients wish to access information is changing and we have developed our client app in response to this.
“We are strategically committed to technology innovation and offering clients a superior user experience, enabling them to access their portfolios where they want and how they want.”
Gareth Johnson, head of digital channels at Brewin Dolphin, spoke of the challenges in developing a digital strategy to meet the needs of an evolving client base at PBI‘s London conference in June.
“When you’re thinking about your service, you might be thinking mobile, you might be thinking hybrid, all those things.
“What you should be thinking about is actually how you help educate people,” Johnson told the audience.
