British investment manager Brooks Macdonald has opened a new East Anglia office. Brooks Macdonald East Anglia office is located in Bury St. Edmunds and will be headed by the firm’s senior investment director Pam Beith.
The move increases the firm’s footprint across the UK and the Channel Islands to 13 locations.
Beith will be joined by other team members including business development manager Carol Hyner, investment manager Isobel Gingell, and assistant business development manager Eleanor Cooper.
Having joined the company in 2009, Beith has been in the financial services industry for 40 years. He previously headed the Tunbridge Wells office of Brooks Macdonald.
“Our track record of delivering high quality investment management solutions for clients and longstanding support for financial advisers provides an ideal platform to launch in the region,” Beith noted.
Meanwhile, Hyner will be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing intermediary relationships in the region.
Brooks Macdonald regional offices head John Wallace said: “The East Anglia office opening is testament to our commitment to expand the Group’s footprint and increase our capacity to provide award-winning investment management services to our growing client base and professional adviser community.”
Established in 1991, the group serves individuals, pension funds, institutions, charities and trusts. As at 30 June 2018, the business reported discretionary funds under management of £12.4bn.
The group’s other offices are located in London, Wales, Scotland, Guernsey, Hampshire, Jersey, Leamington Spa, Manchester, Taunton, Tunbridge Wells and York.
