Dunham & Deitel Wealth Management Group, a Tennesee-based financial advisory firm, has transitioned to Triad Advisors’s broker-dealer and hybrid multi-custodial registered investment advisory (RIA) platform.
The move brings $155m in commission- and fee-based advisory client assets to Triad’s RIA entity.
The advisory firm will affiliate with Triad through Triad Hybrid Solutions, which is a specialised RIA entity for independent financial advisors.
Triad Advisors senior vice president of advisory services and Triad Hybrid Solutions CEO Michael Bryan said: "We are very pleased that Dunham & Deitel has chosen to align with Triad Hybrid Solutions, which we believe is the perfect solution for a broad segment of hybrid fee- and commission-based independent financial advisory firms that want to maintain the advantages that come from having their own RIA yet seek relief from so many of the regulatory and administrative burdens that can accompany it."
Dunham & Deitel co-founder Barbara Deitel said: "We are excited to join with Triad Advisors and to be associated with Triad Hybrid Solutions. Joining Triad, with its open-architecture flexibility, will give us discretionary authority in managing client accounts, which was a major attraction for us. We are also thrilled to leverage the superior technology offerings available through Triad, in order to provide our clients with best-in-class service."
Dunham & Deitel caters to various types of clients including mass-affluent retail investors, high-net-worth families, individuals, mainly in Tennessee’s Tri-Cities region of Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol, and across the nation.
The firm comprises three advisors, including founders Bill Dunham and Barbara Deitel, and Matthew Deitel, as well as one support professional.
