Eaton Partners, a placement agent and adviser to alternative investment firms, has opened a new office in New York City.
The New York City location is the firm’s ninth office across the globe and the third new office set up by the firm since becoming a subsidiary of Stifel in January 2016.
The new office will be headed by the firm’s partner Steve Eaton. He will be assisted by managing director Michael Pilson, head of hedge fund origination Scott Froehlich, and senior vice president Robin Tyrangiel.
Eaton Partners partner Peter Martenson said: “We are excited for the opportunity to further service our New York-based clients, and this is a natural extension of our footprint as a leading, global placement agent.
“The support we have experienced through our affiliation with Stifel has facilitated our continued expansion and allowed us to offer enhanced services to a broader base of clients.”
The firm also has offices in Rowayton, Hong Kong, Chicago, San Francisco, Shanghai, Houston, San Diego and London and employs over 70 professionals.
