A Massachusetts-based family team has broken away from UBS to introduce a new independent firm, known as The Harvest Group Wealth Management.
The team consists of Roger Ingwersen, son Todd Ingwersen and daughter Laurie Ingwersen.
The Harvest Group will offer services as fiduciaries for individuals, families, and businesses to design customized wealth management plans.
The Harvest Group managing partner and founder Roger Ingwersen said: "Our team at The Harvest Group has established meaningful relationships with our clients based on honesty, mutual respect, and unyielding advocacy for their well-being.
"At the core of our business has always been an independent spirit driven by our endless pursuit to do what is right for our clients. In order to continue that legacy, we have made the important decision to operate independently, giving us the freedom to take full control of wealth management decisions that we believe are best suited for the needs of our clients and their families."
Managing partner Laurie Ingwersen said: "The RIA space has grown exponentially over the past decade, giving independent advisors like us access to better technology, trading options, performance reporting tools, research, and more.”
Managing partner Todd Ingwersen said: "We are confident that our clients — who have come to trust our leadership and expertise for many years — will share in our excitement and join us in taking this next step toward independence."
