Global Merces, an Australian asset management firm, has chosen SS&C’s investment accounting, asset servicing and mutual fund platforms called HiPortfolio and HiTrust.
The vendor said that the selection of its HiTrust unit registry and pricing solution was due to its ability to offer fast time-to-value implementation and integrate with investment accounting platform HiPortfolio.
Global Merces managing director and CEO Holly Grofski said: “From the outset, we were impressed with SS&C’s deep industry knowledge and their flexible and innovative solutions. The implementation process moved very quickly and we are now going live on a market leading platform in an incredibly short period of time.
“Global Merces has ambitious plans in the region and globally. In SS&C, we are confident we have a long-term partner who shares our dynamic and innovative approach, and who will work with us to support our ambitions.”
The asset manager is the first Australian customer to benefit from SS&C’s integrated solution following its takeover of DST in April 2018 in a deal worth around $5.4bn.
According to SS&C, the solution will enable Global Merces to deal with complex regulatory needs and incorporate tax and accounting methods.
