HSBC Global Asset Management (HSBC GAM) has made various leadership changes in its global investment team.
The restructure, which will be implemented immediately, includes the appointment of Vis Nayar as European and UK CIO.
He will manage the UK and European investment teams, with local country CIOs reporting to him.
Nayar himself will report to Stuart White, who has been recently appointed as the global head of strategy and UK and international CEO.
Nayar was latterly the deputy equity CIO and head of systematic equities at HSBC GAM.
He will be replaced in this role by CIO for France Guillaume Rabault who will now serve as quant equity CIO.
Besides, Melissa McDonald has been appointed as the head of responsible investment within the global investments team.
She previously served as the global head of product equities and responsible investment.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Curry, currently the US and liquidity CIO, will add the Americas to its remit.
Ian Barnett, formerly the head of global portfolio analytics and design, has been named as the head of CIO office.
Other changes include the appointment of Joseph Little as the global chief strategist. He previously served as the co-CIO for multiasset.
Jean-Charles Bertrand will now be the sole multiasset CIO.
