Australian managed account specialist Implemented Portfolios (IP) has rolled out a branded individually managed account (IMA) service for Australian financial advisors and licensees.
The new solution, which the company claims is the first of its kind, will enable advisors and licensees white-label the new service and use their own model portfolios. They will also have the option of using their own model portfolios or those of any other service provider.
Implemented Portfolios CEO Santi Burridge said: "Most advisers want to spend less time on investments and more time with their clients, and for those advisers we will continue to successfully offer our world class dynamic asset allocation service and structure.
"But for those advisers for whom investment management is a central plank for their value proposition, such as those offer their own model portfolios, we have now amended our service so that these professionals can also gain access to our leading IMA technology, which reduces the costs and complexities associated with delivering traditional investment management to clients."
In addition, the solution is customisable to an advisor’s practice’s brand and aesthetics, helping emerging or independent companies develop recognised brands and marketing campaigns.
The company said that the solution will offer scalability benefits to advisers running in-house model portfolios, and enhance commercial revenue activities of partner firms.
“At Implemented Portfolios we are out and proud supporters of the independent financial adviser community and part of our strategy behind the Branded IMA solution was to support the existing business operations of IFA firms,” Burridge added.
