London-based LJ Partnership has wrapped up the acquisition of Guggenheim Investment Advisors (Hong Kong), the investment advisory group of Guggenheim Partners in Hong Kong.
Guggenheim Investment Advisors (Hong Kong) (GIA (HK) offers investment management and family office services to families, high net worth individuals and foundations in Hong Kong.
The latest move comes following a host of recent mergers and acquisitions by LJ Partnership, including the Guggenheim Partners investment advisory groups in Geneva and Miami.
The combined group now employs 250 staff in 11 offices across Europe, the US and Asia, and oversees more than $13bn in assets.
Clients of these Guggenheim Partners entities will have access to various investments through a partnership between LJ Partnership and Guggenheim Partners. These entities will continue to operate under the Guggenheim name under license from Guggenheim Capital.
LJ Partnership CEO Andrew Williams said: “We are delighted to announce this strategically important expansion of our business and the launch of additional services for clients in Asia. Our aim is to achieve a breadth of expertise that differentiates us from competitors and enables us to provide the full range of services that are required by today’s sophisticated investors.
“This expansion is also illustrative of our aspirations as we strive for further growth, assess acquisition opportunities and extend our global footprint.”
