Manhattan West Asset Management, formerly a JPMorgan Securities team in Los Angeles, has moved into the independent wealth management space, and will custody with Schwab Advisor Services.
Los Angeles County, California based firm will focus on serving ultrahigh-net-worth sports, music and entertainment clients.
The company, which is led by Lorenzo Esparza, will offer comprehensive asset management including private equity, direct real-estate investment and hedge strategies.
The firm revealed that it plans to grow aggressively in the years ahead and looking to establish further presence in Southern California, as well as major metropolitan cities such as San Francisco, Chicago, and New York.
