Maples Fiduciary, a unit of MaplesFS and a provider of specialised fiduciary and corporate administration services, has launched an office in London.
The new office will mainly offer corporate and fiduciary services to UK companies, limited liability partnerships as well as structured finance vehicles.
It will also offer UK facilities agent services to Irish and Luxembourg UCITS along with process agent services.
Also, Maples Fiduciary’s corporate and fiduciary services will be offered for clients already working with the Maples group in other jurisdictions.
The team will be headed by senior vice president Sam Ellis, who will be assisted by other strategic hires in London. The team will also include Tina Jehan who joined earlier in 2016 in the role of vice president, as well as Charles Leahy and Michael Drew as vice presidents.
Tina Jehan joined the team earlier this year as vice president and brings over two decades of corporate and fiduciary services experience with a focus on the investment funds industry. Charles Leahy joins Maples Fiduciary as vice president. He is a highly experienced senior transaction manager with more than a decade of experience and expertise in UK securitizations and structured finance.
MaplesFS global head of fiduciary Peter Huber said: "With most of the top financial institutions to whom the Maples group provides services having a substantial presence in the region, the opening of a Maples Fiduciary office in London is a natural fit and enables us to further assist existing and prospective clients.
"Given the specialist nature of structured finance and investment fund services, establishing the London office further bolsters our efforts and makes us well positioned to continue meeting the complex and multi-jurisdictional needs of our clients."
