British wealth manager Mattioli Woods has joined forces with tax structuring specialist Stellar Asset Management to launch an inheritance tax mitigation service for private clients.
Dubbed Progression, the new proposition is aimed at offering clients relief from inheritance tax and will allow clients to become shareholders of their own private trading company.
Mattioli Woods director David Thurlow said: "The decision to work with Stellar was driven by our desire to work with experts in the IHT market. The structure of Progression is tried and tested and truly offers our clients control, excellent portfolio diversification and transparency. We have a number of clients ready to sign up and Progression is now available to all Mattioli Woods’ advisers."
Stellar will be responsible for identifying and managing trading opportunities where the invested money will be committed. The asset manager will also offer administration, accounting as well as tax services.
Stellar CEO Jonathan Gain added: "I am proud to be working with such an established and acclaimed wealth manager as Mattioli Woods. Their decision to work with us vindicates our position as the only bespoke IHT service provider in the market and is a wonderful endorsement of our ability to source and manage defensive and tangible asset classes which offer real grow potential."
