Steward Partners Global Advisory, an independent partnership associated with Raymond James Financial Services, has opened a new office in Houston, Texas.
The new location is the firm’s fourteenth office and its first office in Texas. It expands Steward Partners’ footprint beyond the East Coast.
The firm’s other offices are located in Albany, Andover, Boston, Baltimore, Bethesda, Clearwater, Keene, Manchester, Portsmouth, Paramus, Richmond, New York City and Washington, D.C.
The new location will be staffed by financial advisers Randy Price and Matthew Price of The Price Group. The team managed $600m in assets.
“We’ve always believed in treating our clients the way we would want to be treated ourselves, and this belief is at the heart of Steward’s approach to wealth management. Being independent means that we can focus on developing investment strategies that are tailored to our clients’ individual needs and aspirations,” Matthew Price noted.
The Price Group advisers will be joined by wealth management associate Tiffany Soliz, registered client administrative manager Daniel Bingham, Jr., and senior registered client administrative manager Melissa Hamner.
Steward Partners president Hy Saporta said: “We continue to expand into affluent markets, mainly because of the demand we are receiving from highly developed teams in those areas. Advisers across the country have found Steward’s model increasingly attractive.”
