The Co-operators, a Canadian co-operative with more than $44bn in assets under administration, has selected EquiSoft’s WealthElements as its advisor wealth planning platform.
WealthElements is an integrated suite of web-based investment, insurance and financial planning tools designed to enable financial advisors ably manage every element of their client’s wealth.
The Co-operators will implement WealthElements and its new Client Portal Module across its financial advisor network, according to EquiSoft.
Client Portal Module, which EquiSoft added to its toolset earlier this year, will support advisors with client or prospect data capture, investor profiling, and investment portfolio selection.
The module will also allow seamless transition from automated service to full advisor service (and vice versa) when warranted, EquiSoft added.
The Co-operators vice president of wealth strategy Jim Lund said: “We are excited to partner with EquiSoft. Our goal is to offer our advisors a user-friendly, flexible and scalable planning tool to address wealth management, life insurance and living benefits needs in a holistic manner.
“Additionally, we wanted to provide our clients with a choice on how they interact with us, whether in person, online or by phone. WealthElements is the ideal solution to meet those needs.”
