British wealth manager Rathbones has appointed Ian Dembinski, Peter Arkell and Alex Dean for its private office division.
Dembinski will directly report to Rathbones CEO Philip Howell. He most recently served at the private banking arm at Credit Suisse. Since 2010, Dembinski held the role of managing director and head of Credit Suisse’s UK domestic private bank that serves high net worth clients. Before that, he worked for 24 years in the investment and private banking units of UBS.
Arkell and Dean have been appointed as client directors within Rathbones private office division.
Arkell, with an overall experience of 29 years, most recently worked at Deutsche Bank. Previously, he also served at Barclays, Credit Suisse, and Kleinwort Benson. He will assume the new role in the middle of this year.
Dean joined Rathbones in May, and prior to that served at RBC Wealth Management. He has an experience of 18 years.
Dembinski, Arkell and Dean will work closely with Rathbones private office head of investment solutions Natalie Merrens, who joined in October 2015 from Kleinwort Benson.
"These new appointments, along with the relationship that we have formed with Credit Suisse, will ensure our Private Office clients have access to the full range of services they require from the outset," Howell said.
Rathbones has recently also entered into an external asset manager partnership with Credit Suisse. The collaboration will enable Rathbones’ private office to provide a wealth advisory service that has access to specialist private banking products, services and lending solutions.
